I dont know of any wireless phone that could support real 4G speeds. Besides on a mobile device, do I really need more than 20mb down, 5 up? Thats already faster than my cable modem lol.
I think Verizon 4G is useful at times. YouTube videos load quick on it, and the upload speed is 5x as fast as my cable modem speed :P. My Verizon 4G speed is about 15 down, 35 up. When YouTube videos stop and freeze while loading and you have to wait, you somewhat wish you had the 4G speed.

Bash is under the GPL license - not GNU. Never has been GNU see source link -> http://www.opensource.apple.com/release/mac-os-x-106/
BTW - No part of MacOSX i distributed under GNU licensing...

GNU is an organization that amongst other things, controls the GPL (GNU Public License).
Linux has it's background in Minix, using a GNU userland, hence the common term GNU/Linux to denote the two pieces. The Linux kernel is not controlled by GNU projects.

Nope, the thing you haven't understood is that I thought it was a Clever idea, as right after, the attackers left. If I could ditch the PS3, Airport Extreme, ATV2 and get games, movies, tv channels, etc, as well as wireless capabilities and a 1080P picture, I'd be interested.
Apple would likely work through the thing from the inside out to make it aesthetically pleasing, thin as hell and offer only one plug (instead of the rats nest most entertainment centers hold) and your iphone / ipad would be the remote. Oh, don't forget that setup would be a breeze and with Facetime built in, they would draw in the telephony market too.
No more clutter and full apple integration. What's not to like?

I just updated mine and there is a noticeable difference in speed with this update. It is much faster in opening applications and text messages.

Bought the white iPhone for the missus because she couldnt wait for iphone 5 and I cant tell the difference side by side with my black one. Even bought a bumper that was available before the white one was released, and guess what? The white iPhone slips in perfectly.

I have been under the impression that the iphone would be released sometime at the end of the year, with verzion having had gotten the iphone 4 in febuary, i couldn't see it coming out any time soon

According to CNET, the new Air will be released around June with a Sandy Bridge ULV Core i5 2537M chip 1.4 GHz that can turbo to 2.3 GHz.
So for .17 GHz upgrade we are sacrificing around 30% graphic power?
The CPU would be considerably faster, but the graphics ughh lol. The only way I can see myself grabbing a new one this year is if it comes with some type of integrated 3G plan similar to the iPad, then I'd consider downgrading the GPU.

To be honest Steve seems to say that every year, the problem is after he says it the first year if he doesn't say it about the next year shareholders will be more worried about their investment so it becomes a repetition.
I'm thinking the same thing. Can anyone find the appropriate quote from, say, last year's MWSF? I know i've been waiting since then for the exciting new products he promised: intel conversions don't count, nor do new casings and better batteries for iPods. The MacBook counts as a new product and the sales achieved by it could put it into the exciting category. iTV may fit but it's not coming out til next year. So what did Steve promise for 06? And what fits that bill?
