I will be touring San Fran at 3:00 sorry. But I will be around and the city is so nice. I walked around for 4 hours and also visited the Moscone Center.

I more mean that you can pick and chose with Move. For example, I already have a PlayStation Eye from years ago (and so do a fair few people), so if I were to invest in Move I'd simply need a controller to do the basics, and a navigator if I want to pimp it.
The system scales, based on what you already have, and what you want to have. Whereas Kinect is 129, no matter what you own (Move for me would cost less than 70). I do agree however that Move is damn expensive if you need all the components and want 2 players...but then is there really any game worth that outlay right now? I do see Move as having the advantage of buttons though.
I've had a go on Move, and although the controllers were obviously plastic, they felt no more so than every other game controller (DualShock, Wii Remote, 360 controller) under the sun. Kinect's technology is pretty impressive, I will totally admit.
As we both agree, it does simply come down to the games. Killzone 3 may be the make or break of Move, as from what I've seen it'll be the first AAA title from Sony with Move support. Not sure what Microsoft's answer to that will be?
[EDIT: http://kotaku.com/5688040/report-kinect-only-cost-56-to-make
Seriously, $56 to make, selling at $149? Microsoft should have cut it to $99, still made a huge profit, and actually avoided the massive criticism of price. Totally insane]

anyone still can order it.
Just use an edu account.
nope. you'd need to own/be the IT guy of an educational institution
Can you really still order it with just an edu account?
no, you can not.
How do you get an edu acct?
you go to college or grad school, or become a teacher.

The sad thing is this:
Apple had a HUGE tech advantage with their touch-screen iOS software. They were light-years ahead of the competition when the original iPhone debuted. They could've licensed the software with some decently strict quality controls (screens must be X size, processor must be X fast, etc.) and stomped the market while Android was still an idea in some moron's head at Google.
They could've been Microsoft for the new-era: iOS on every Phone, iOS on every tablet, etc.
And they made the same, stupid mistake as they did in the 80s: they picked device profitability over software profitability. They've locked themselves into a cycle where they need to constantly hit their hardware revisions out of the ballpark, both in specs and aesthetics, to keep pace.

Both print and digital. What's the difference between a website and a digital magazine? Nothing. Stop wasting your time and money creating special electronic editions and apps and just make a damn website. And why charge anything for the digital version? You don't have to print it and you don't have to distribute it and you're already making money from online advertising.

No, this is the future of anti-piracy technology measures.
;)
Or is it actually an Apple conspiracy to force them to buy the iPatch?

I suggest those waiting hold their breath. Either you want an iPad or you don't. If you can wait 6-12 months for something, the product probably isn't what you are looking for in the first place...
Well, in my case I may be waiting the 6 months or so for the iPad2 or even hold out for the iPad3 next March reason being that I'm purchasing a 27" iMac when they are refreshed this year as well as upgrading my iPhone 3GS to the iPhone 5 once that is released.

That's good, seeing as how Netflix is completely unusable on Apple TV. I can't watch anything without it pausing to buffer constantly, and the problem seems pretty widespread (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2616899). Works fine on my iPad from the same Internet connection, as well as from my TiVo. Netflix on Apple TV sucks.

Yet what those hackintosh prove is that Apple is charging a "Mac Pro tax" of around 1000$, +/- a few hundreds depending on configuration. Even if that tax was only 500$ +/- a few hundreds, the question remains: why?
It just proves you can put Mac OS X on cheaper hardware. Which is why so many people do it. People have put Mac OSX on netbooks, but obviously a netbook would never be considered a workstation class computer.

So, some crazy bitch climbs on the hood of your car to keep you from leaving and you just have to put up with that?
I'm sorry, I'm not saying the guy should get a free pass, but at some point her own idiocy has to bear some of the blame for this.
You can't be serious.

forgive my ignorance but is this a re-release? what's the difference between this and what they released back in OCT?
It is a maintenance release (update) to the street version.

With the way that screeshots end up in the public eye from these Dev releases, does anyone think that this is all that 10.5 will have to show us? Apple knows leaks like this are going to happen, so we're not really seeing the "good stuff" yet. AKA: Top Secret features. ;)
Nah. I have a feeling there will be more to 10.5 than the few screen leaks we're seeing. Like many, I too am interested in these hidden features or whatever Steve referenced at WWDC.
Question for those who frequently receive prereleases: is it possible to hide features from developers & testers and then release the gold master with said hidden features available? is that possible, feasible, smart?
Thanks.

Actually, if they would fix the bugs in iCal I'd be happy :D
I would expect tighter intregration for the new iCal server, and other backend stuffs, maybe some professionalizing of the interface.
 you could import iphoto calenders.....:D  :p

#1 - Culture
#2 - Relative wealth of country and self-reliance of citizens as a whole (however, they are WAY in debt, worse even than the U.S.)
#3 - They just experienced a catastrophe so horrific, it's brining the people together, not apart. Similar to how 9/11 did in America.
#4 - Disaster zone is in very specific areas, and everything in those areas is essentially completely destroyed. Several blocks away, things are relatively untouched.
